Cleaning goes beyond just fabrics we wear on our body. What about your bathroom? Your car? Your pets? Your gym? The list goes on. We have an assortment of sprays that can clean and protect all your uncleanables, depending on just how "uncleanable" they are...
The list of items that return from the Google search "Things You Shouldn't Put in Your Washing Machine" is long... some of them we agree with and some of them we don't. There are some items that are safe to wash with HEX, like Lululemon yoga pants and then there are items that literally don't fit in your washing machine OR traditional laundry detergents don't have what it takes to clean them. But these items need some lovin' too! People are literally googling "how to wash <insert item> without washing it". That's why we invented HEX!
We list some of the most overlooked uncleanables below.
- Gym Bags
- Upholstery: throw blankets, couch cushions, duvets, pillows, curtains, rugs, etc.
- Jackets... we're talking ski jackets, rain coats, biker jackets, bombers, etc.
- Carpets
- Pet Beds
- Camping Gear: tents, sleeping bags, etc.
- Shoes (including your slippers!)
- Sports Gear (this may seem obvious, but we recommend spraying anything that comes into contact with sweat and dirt, including, but not limited to: pads, insoles, exercise balls, compression apparel, helmets, gloves, etc.)
- Exercise Equipment
- Mats: wrestling mats, yoga mats, bath mats, door mats, etc.

At HEX, we have 3 different sprays, formulated for uncleanables. Some people get confused about how and when to use our sprays, so we thought we would clear the air (see what we did there!).
- Stain & Stink Spray - Think before wash treatment. This is for things you need to spray before you have a chance to throw them in the wash; Stain & Stink Spray should be applied to anything that has an invisible (odor) or visible (yellow sweat marks) stain. Stain & Stink is great for items that will eventually be washed but you need to throw them in the hamper knowing they won't gunk up the rest of your stuff.
- Deodorizing Spray - Think everyday use. Our Deodorizing Sprays are great for items that don't fit in the wash: Upholstery, Mats, Shoes, Gym Bags, etc. HEX Deodorizing Spray is not meant to be confused with air freshening sprays. - Gear Wash Spray - Think heavy duty. This is for... you guessed it... gear: spin bikes, exercise balls, shoulder pads, free weights, exercise balls, helmets, gloves, etc. All that heavy duty plastic making contact with sweat and dirt and debris needs to be cleaned too!
