1. Make sure your gym bag has washable fabrics. Check the washing instructions on the label. Avoid washing leather.
2. Clean out every pocket, corner, and crevice.
3. Turn the gym bag inside out.
4. Remove, cinch or tie up straps to prevent them from getting tangled.
5. Put the dirty gym bag in a mesh washing bag. This minimizes damage to your washing machine.
6. Toss mesh bag in the wash with towels of a similar color to prevent color bleed or lint balls.
